This guide contains all principals and tools behind the House of Finn Juhl brand identity.

How to Use the Design Guide
The design guide combines presentation of the most important graphic elements – logo, typology etc. – with references. You are able to download all relevant formats and templates directly from this site.
When you have found the format or template you are looking for, it is a good idea to note if there are any instructions or accompanying guidelines, associated with that specific format or template. By doing so, you will avoid producing an expression that does not harmonize with the established visual identity.
All materials can be found, and downloaded, from a Dropbox-folder, which the “Download”-function will take you to.
Step 1
When you have located the desired format or design element, you can click the “Download”-button.
A new Dropbox-window will appear and you will have access to the relevant files.
Step 2
In the Dropbox-window you will need to click on the wanted file, and a “Download”-tap will appear.
When you click “Download”, the file will be saved in your computer’s Download-folder.

NOTE: The quality stamp is a supplement to the logo and serves as a mark of authenticity.
— For this reason, the quality stamp must be used with caution.
— The quality stamp is not to be perceived as a logo, but rather a so-called 5th element, i.e. an unofficial design element.

NOTE: “Driver” – the line with the dot – is a reference to Finn Juhl’s organically shaped furniture.
NOTE: The length of the driver is based on the body text’s breadth and should not be longer nor shorter.
— The driver helps indicate the breadth and adds a refined expression.
— The driver’s thickness amounts to 2/5 of the final letter “L” in JUHL – as shown in the picture to the right.
Typography
File format: Open Type
NOTE: install the fonts before you download other files from the design guide, this way you ensure
that you programs apply the correct typography and does not attempt to replace it with another font.

— Examples of metals are included, which can be used as flair on e.g. logo materials.
